Help, my engine is lifted and I can't get it up! (Remounting Engine on Subframe)

    I would keep engine rubber mounts bolted to the subframe and unbolt it from support bars. It's much easier to get support brackets into the mount than lower it into the subframe as it sits in your pics. At list you will be able to actually see if mount pins are going into brackets while you are lowering and wiggling the engine. Your engine mounts are probably hitting the subframe and the engine just stops there......meantime you can't see what is going on while you are looking from above.

    That support bar is perfectly fine and capable to lower/raise the engine 12" or so. Although I would NOT just hook it with the anchor bolt like you did. Should have used the included chain or some sort of strap....it could give you less rigid connection and allow much better movement/wiggling of the engine
