    325is driveline rumble/hum

What’s up, everyone? I’ve been chatting with my local shop and with others about a rumble. Got a remanufactured driveshaft from Beyer Motor Works in Chandler, AZ. They reman driveshafts for Turner. Driveshaft is installed and csb is preloaded. There is a rumble around 40-50 mph. Nothing crazy but it shouldn’t be the driveshaft. The shop was thinking it could be the differential bearings, which can send the vibration up the driveshaft. If I put the car in neutral you can hear/feel the rumble. It’s not an undriveable rumble, but more of a nuisance. I guess the csb that was installed could be bad? Any thoughts?
    thanks,

Was the same rumble there before you swapped the driveshaft? Are your engine and tranny mounts good. Installing a driveshaft involves a little art as well as measurement.

I couldn’t tell there was rumbling before. Wasn’t like this. Engine and trans mounts are fresh. I am taking the car to the shop tomorrow to have it looked at as I typically have trouble perfectly installing the driveshaft.
