Air intake?

Hello hope someone can help can't find any info. I have a 89 325is
last time it was changed my mechanic while doing service. and I just stated to drive the car again. So I went to replace my air filter the other day and I noticed something strange. The bottom part of the filter housing seemed to be weird like it was missing something. Upon looking on reaoem I noticed I was missing #10
intake boot and #11 suction tube.

SO the question is; am I missing this or the car never had it. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a slightly different shaped tube in mine but its FS if u want.
