BMW E30 325i - tuning

Hi Gents,

I will start soon a 325i m20b25 engine restoration and a tuning. At this moment I have from Schmiedmann the sport intake manifold, sport camshaft and a sport exhaust.
I'm also thinking to replace some original parts in the engine with a better quality and performance parts (Alpina parts perhaps ... what version?), therefore I would like to have some sugestions and advices.

what is a Schmiedmann "sport intake manifold"?

We have a pretty good group of people who know how to build M20s here, I'd start looking in the M20 forum (Digger and ForcedFirebird are good resources). I don't know what Alpina parts you're thinking of, but unless you've got an inside source on NLA parts, or a lot of money, anything Alpina from back then would be difficult to find.
