Stupid question, but have you rechecked the plug wires and made
100% sure they're correct?
Does it sound like shit, or just doesn't want to run?

We checked the TPS and everything seemed fine. Car is still running like poop. Any more ideas?Leave a comment:

thats the only thing i havent touched yet...
i did just switch the MAF thought it worked... then no...
and i didnt swap a b35 head, that would actually lower the compression and is only really good for boost. I just swapped in a b35 cam and it made things so much smoother when its running right. Gonna go adjust the TPS nowLeave a comment:

the only thing I can think of is the throttle position sensor. Try adjusting it?
does the b35 head give you higher compression? I'm not familiar with this head swap.Leave a comment:

rough running issue...
i just finished putting a refinished head, with all new rockers, valve seals and a b35 cam on my b34. The cap got cracked on install and the rotor was a little chipped. Stupid mistake from rushing.
here is my issue, on first start it was fine, ran great until i would stop shut it down and start it again. After that it would run like shit, like it only had 3 cylinders until my foot was on the floor, then it would haul ass like a bat outta hell... this was occasional and would go away and while the cracked cap and rotor were still in. Then yesterday i stopped and started it again and the issue has been constant since... cammed b34 in the rain with 3.73lsd only able to run at full throttle is well... interesting.
so today i swapped out the cap and rotor - nothing
found a vaccuum leak - nothing
swapped the ecu - nothing
unplugged the o2 sensor - nothing
pulled plug one and it looks ok, no oil, no gas
moved a ground to a better location - nothing
so what do you all think???? it ran fine before i busted a rocker, which is why i refinished the head, when doing the head gasket the only things that changed were the damaged cap and rotor and i had to move a ground...
le me know what you all think
TIA
