I've been lurking here for a while so thought I'd contribute :) (normally I'm on ECCA Doughnut). My car is a daily drive, so it's not the prettiest thing going, but it's been really reliable for a year now. A few specs: cirrusblau 4 door, 1988 320i with M30B35, e30.de type 2 mounts, modified M20 loom, 318i single mass flywheel, Australian Clutch Service Xtreme organic clutch & HD pressure plate, G240 gearbox (yes - it's lasted 10,000km so far, no dramas), 3.73 diff.

Just went to the carport and snapped the pic.

Build thread in Sig. I still need to spend the time to tidy up all the random wires and remove all the I'd tags on the wires

I agree, though Once I finally got it through the fire wall I fitted the ecu in place with some flimsy brackets and cable ties.

    Looks great!

On a side note, it's good to see my thread going lol!

Good idea on the ammo box.

I never use them, but I've been thinking about picking up an e23/e32/e34 tank to see how it fits.

    Should be something like this:

BTW, the stock e32/e34 ecu/dme/relay box does not fit w/o modifications in the front right corner... i was hoping it would so I can keep the dme and relays there but I'll have to modify it.

I can't live without my windshield squirters. I don't know why all you guys get rid of it. I don't even have a m30 yet, and I've already ordered a wisher washer tank to sit in that back corner.

Interesting ammo box idea. You know what? It doesn't look out of place really! Nice little hack!

cleaned the bay up a bit - aside from the dirt. Intake isn't the optimal setup for flow but it works.

Added spark plug wire covers and cap cover. I like it a lot. 'Twas a pain to get all the wires to fit nicely. Also have an ammo box for the ecu and relays

beautiful swaps! i like them all! clean or dirty!
e32/e34 b35 harness or e30 harness with some wires extended.

keep this thread clean as you have already started another thread on this. you once again need to provide more information before we can help you.
