the guage wont be accurate for an M30, im not sure if hoveringguys thing has enough tunability to use with the M30 aswell? what does an average M30 get for real fuel economy?

City I get about 20, best I've gotten was about 24-25mpg. This is looking at the miles traveled vs. gas consumed. My car has a small 11gallon tank.
I guess it's not a big deal, but I want to understand why it's not working AT ALL. It worked before the swap, so unless the mpg gauge died right when I did the swap it makes me think it's soemthing else...

it doesn't matter what engine you use as long as you have the right coding plug for your # of cylinders (6cy/4cyl). you can basically use any size injectors and fuel pressure and it will work, but it's harder to tune when you get too far from stock. I'm using one with megasquirt and 42# injectors and it works pretty well. it's running it directly from the injector ground too, not conditioned by the computer.

And to clear that up, I am using a late model cluster with 6cyl plug. The fuel gauge is from an early cluster to match the early tank/fuel level sender.

I am going to trace the wire tomorrow again, but I am pretty damn sure it's good.
