hmm, very thin line you are walking with using thier font etc. I know alot of people on ebay do it and I doubt its a problem but really you never know with copyright shit. Otherwise Drew I aplaud you foir finding such presiceness in all you do, doing a 333i clone definetly deserves some props.

        I guess we'll find out.

Making a clone for yourself is one thing, selling the part with a copyrighted logo is another. Seeing as no parts have been sold, I think contacting Alpina legal may be a bit premature.

As a personal observation Trey, that's a douchebag move if you actually did it. Good to know that you're looking out for large corporations, are you going to sic BMW on all the guys selling personalized Roundels or anything else bearing the BMW logo? You may have just opened up a big bag of shit.

+1 on the douchebag move. If I could call Alpina and buy one of these from them new, it would be a different matter. All Andrew is trying to do is replicate something cool that has been long nla.

              as mentioned before,
moving it to that side actually hurts performance in N/A applications,
in FI applications it doesn't hurt because it is Forced Induction.

You need to post/research on the 5 board and or talk to Chris Graf about it...

I remember back maybe 2-3 years ago bmw told the admin of this site to
remove the bmw emblem from the front page.:hitler:

As long as you're not selling these things I think you'll be alright.
I know I wouldn't want a gay (and fake) "alpina" on the top of my intake anyway..

Your tig welding skills are amazing! You have great attention to detail! These should excite anyone hoping to turbo/super charge their m30 to allow more room on the exhaust side!

                        Great work!
