The shifter is a from a short shift but it sits a little lower than stock. Funny thing is when I first started the car after the swap and put it in reverse the guibo kept hitting the selector and popping it out of the shifter. So after several times of doing this and me putting it back into place I got under the car. I had put the selector rod upside down . I flip it and now it works perfect.

Sorry I just saw your post. I didn't have to do anything to the selector rod. It fitted just perfect.

Yes. I was just looking at the ETM for the 735i and the injectors are wired in threes. 1,2 and 3 fire from ECU port 14. 4,5 and 6 from 15. So since the M30 firing order is = 1 5 3 6 2 4, with 1 being the closest to the radiator then it should be easy to figure out the plugging order.

Later ones too, but you have to tear apart that damn plastic housing. doesn't look as pretty, unless you can get a B35 injector cover.

it shouldn't be hard to identify them even with the numbers gone. the #1 and #6 are the longest and the 3 injector connections with the blue and brown temp sensors are obv for cylinders 1,2,3. Im using an m20 harness

I have never done a swap before so the learning curve was steep

Yessir. I'd match those up, then the other fall into place, deductive reasoning. All of the wires should have the # on it, but they get lost over 20+ years.

I'd lay the harness out and the injectors plugs pretty much fall into place. Some may even still have the #'s on them. They will pretty much only reach where they're suppose to go.

Its just the injectors plugs are kind of out order and just need to verify that.
