3.73 over a 2.93 ANY day. I am running a 2.93 right now because the 3.73 I had in blew up after a mile (Check your gear oil!!!). But for the mile I had it in, it was much more user friendly.

And a 3.73 will likely increase gas mileage, contrary to what many people think. Running a 2.93 takes more gas to get the car going and maintaining speed. The only time a 2.93 would be sufficient is if you have 300+ HP or you travel ridiculous miles on the freeway. Even then a 3.25 would better suit the car/motor.

E30Beast, what kind of engine did you have in it?

Well, unless you like spinning one wheel then it's not mandatory ;)

Seriously though, depends on what you will be doing with the car... it's not like open diff will prevent you from driving a car, but having an open diff in a FWD or RWD car with lots of hp/tq = not fun.

I have a 3.46 lsd in my m30 swaped e30 and find it to be alittle short. Though I do have the G265...
