Future swap idea? been done? N73

Well, i was looking at an N73, 6L V12 with 400+ stock HP. Im sure wiring will be a nightmare. does anyone have experiance with these engines? im assuming they have a form of EWS that would need to be implimented or worked around somehow.. anything else that would stop it from working in an E30?

phyically is is close or the same as an M73? as far as block size?

they are cool and all.. but all that complication, and weight, and cost, and the V12s have always been problematic.. I can think of a lot of other ways to get 400hp.

It's been done to new 6-series already, they claimed that the power was 600hp after some ECU tweaking..

200hp from tuning an otherwise stock motor? it's 6 liters, sure. but that's BS.

...What's the matter, a V8 isn't big and heavy enough for you? :p

It's been done with an M70. I wouldn't exactly call it worth it. Certainly unique though.

nose heavy? it certainly would be unqiue. I would start with a standalone right off the bat, I wouldn't even try to get the factory stuff up and running. All those securities and controls
