    Slight change in direction

    Okay. Long story made short.
I've had a B35 and B34 sitting in the garage for a bit. Was going to do the B34 in the E30, and the B35 in the e28, but I changed my mind.
    I have an early (9/85) E30.

I have a B35 from an 87 735i. (Yes, it's a B35, head casting is gtg). It's last home was an E28 and was driven by an 046 ECU. Can't find too much info on the 046, but I don't have it, so I'm stuck. What I can find is that this B35 should have run on a 150 ECU with 1.1 Motronic. Not cool.
What I also have is the 1.3 Motronic parts from an E28 supereta and the 179 ECU.

Should I just swap the wiring to the E28 1.3 Motronic stuff and put it in my E30 like that?
    orrrr....
Should I source a late E30 (1.3 Motronic) harness and go that way?

    thanks, guys.

Source the 1.3 stuff and use an e32/e34 pre 90/91 harness (20 pin c101). You can even use the 150 dme in the 1.3 harness until you get a 179.

source the 1.3 motronic bits from an e34/e32.

I don't think the supereta (m20) motronic parts will work on the m30. Does it have the trigger wheel on the front with a CPS?

Yes, the supereta stuff works. Yes it has the wheel and trigger. The mye28 guys do it all the time to their M30s.
I only ask here, as I'm putting all this stuff in an E30. (an early one, at that)
