Ha. It's been done. I've seen pics - they are on e30.de somewhere. It take an amazing amount of fabrication.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?Comment

To the OP though, unless you're ready to custom build an entire front driveline setup/oil pan, just do an m20 stroker. A well-tuned, well-built 3.0 will put down just as much power as a 3.5 m30.Comment

i have an IX turbo and an m30 swapped e30. the turbo is fun, but id way rather have a rwd turbo m30 anyway, something about the torquiness just cant be matched by the m20. the ix turbo is hella fun though, unreal on rainy days and in snow. on dry pavement though id take my m30 rwd anyday.Comment

You don't like the kick in the pants that a turbo car has? N/A is a waste of time unless your willing to build the crap out of it. oh and spend tons of cash to make 300 hp at the wheels. You could have a crazy fast car for way cheeper with boost.Last edited by nu-B; 04-06-2010, 07:44 PM.Comment
