      Hey uflnuceng,

you have put together a really nice site; i think it's a lot better than e30.de.
However, there is an error on your site.

      Typical Stock hp
      168 211
      189
      240
      Conforti upgrade chip hp
      184
      254
      211
      259

Those stock hps are max horsepower at x rpm. The conforti gains are peak gains but not at the same rpm; therefore you cannot just add them to the stock hps. For example, the m30 makes 211hp@5700rpm; the peak gain from conforti is 43hp@6250rpm. Hope this helps.

      Thanks,
      Charles

good catch.... some sites break down max gain and max hp... guess conforti didn't... i'll see what i can find or try and get a dyno run.

        i'll fix my site asap

I'd also like to say that you're site is really nice. Must have taken a lot of time.

However I remember seeing a few errors, or stuff I wasn't sure about, but I didn't read it all. You're already fixing the chip ratings, but I think your engine weights are misleading viewers. The M30 weighs more than the M50/2 and S50/2 motors, but less than the Euro S50 motors.

For instance, the US e36 M3 engines weigh the same as the listing on your site for the M50, at 299 lbs, not the 333 you list for the s50. The 333 weight was for Euro motors only with the 286hp 3.0liter and the 321hp 3.2.

Another good catch... I'll get that incorporated as well.

BTW... I love your car... expect a sterling silver 4 door to be pimping it like you soon. Just gotta strip the car down to take it to the body shop.

Really? Are you sure about this? Not saying your wrong, but I just find it hard to believe that the US S50 which is 3.0L weighs the same as the 2.5L M50 unless you meant that the m50 weighs less also.

Yes, I'm sure. The M50 and S50 weigh the same. They're the same engine. Think about the factors that give an engine its displacement. The M50 was bored out 2mm, while a new crank increased the stroke to create the S50. If anything, the S50 actually will weigh LESS (a few ounces, neglible) than the M50. Only the Euro S50 weighs 333lb. It isn't hard to believe at all, just have to think what the US S50 engines really are.

Yet any progress with TB:s? I tried fitting them and upper water hose / thermostat housing is on the way, as is brakebooster.. putting them straight up could help.
