    SO Close!

Early August I dropped a valve In my 325es and a few days later I found a 85 M30B34 and Transmission with 50,000 miles. With thin funds Its taken me a while but it is in and ready to go.
I Just bought a new battery and everything is plugged in but when i start it wont Idle without giving it a smidge of throttle and it runs really rough like it putting to much fuel in the engine all the wires are right and i have the right ECU. Any Ideas?

Fuel pressure regulator, cold start valve, coolant temp sensor, etc etc.

I plugged the CSV hose and unplugged the harness. Fixed the rough running issue in my '85 535i. Also replaced the CTS and pressure regulator, helped a little too. I'm pretty much baselining the whole motor, a good practice if you don't know how long some of these items have been in there, my guess would be 25 years.
