M30 Build

Hello,

I am new to this forum and to the E30 world, bought my first E30 back in march and wanted to build a M30 turbo, Heard great things about the motor from all you guys; here are few pictures of what i have done so far. I am doing this very slowly whenever i get some time but i will keep you posted.

Nice clean car, what turbo you plan on running?

looks awesome. just picked up an m30 today. drop the engine in in the spring and boost it in two years after i graduate and can affort it.

Well you suggested Hollset turbo, i will use tdc manifold and miller maf/ injectors war chip for fuel setup. any other suggestions?

i am also not sure if i can use my current oil pan.

Nice work! Did you put in a hotter cam while you were in there? The early 533s and 733s came with a nice little hot cam from the factory, really helps wake up the m30 top end.

IIRC b35 cams still have more lift.

M30B35 cam = M90 cam > M30B34/2 cam.

anyone knows if i can use the oil pan in the picture i am afraid that it may not clear!

That one will not work. You need an e34 or e32 pan.
