Another note, make sure you get THR control arm mounts. Gives you a lot more clearance for the headers

Cheap and good for clearance but not so good for street driving due to NVH

dang... same for both THR and that cheaper one i assume... i guess i'll give em a try just so i can get those headers in... if it's too harsh, the stock exhaust mani's will have to go on, or put that dent on the stahl...
              Thanks you guys!

Thanks, SkiFree... makes complete sense... the plus side is that this company is in TX, and I'm sure they have them on hand already from China... lol... other than that, same thing right??? Hoping the quality holds up.....

I hate to say this... The Stahl headers do not fit in my car, they hit the auto transmission and will not bolt up... I also have brand new knockoff treehouse control arm bushing/ mounts... Anyone interested in taking them off my hands please PM me...

I will being using Hartge m30 headers on my e30 swap. Motor mounts are going to be Hartge copies. They should be in position 3. The black header are IE headers. Ie very close to Hartge dimensions. The rusty one headers are Hartge. The Hartge header will need to be modified.

I bought a modified set of Racing Dynamics E34 headers for my M30B35. The PO modified them a bit to work in a swapped E30 with E30.de mounts.

That said, I couldn't get them to fit in my swap without further modification so I had to go back to the stock manifolds. I'm thinking the problem has to be the mounts I'm using - not sure where they originated (came with the engine)

Anyway, if anyone wants to buy them I can provide pictures and more info, just PM me

For those not on a tight budget its nice to see the Bavauto style being offered again. They fit without much drama on my car.

resurrecting this thread from the dead. There seems to be a real drought of M30 headers it seems. Ireland Engineering offers headers for $425, but that's it in the states/ Bav auto is out of business, Stahl is no more, and the only ones on Ebay are from Germany.

Anyone else still making headers for the M30?

Another question: Can a handy guy with a welder modify M20 headers to fit an M30? The flanges look the same, what could be different? Tube size, and tube spacing, and that's it?
