Ultra cheap, but a HUGE improvement.
    GREAT advice, Thank You.

Well I'm comparing it to the m20 that came out of my car. + the m30 sits further forward on Funk mounts. Might switch to Otis mounts to move it back a tad when I swap the flywheel/clutch someday.

It's not really a problem per say, and it could be just in my mind, but it seems to push a bit more around corners than before the swap. And this is even after a front end refresh (Bushings, Arms, Rods)

      Corner entry understeer?

Camber plates and a more aggressive alignment will help.

More rear roll stiffness, either with more spring or more bar, will help the car rotate out of mid-corner push. (Without proper suspension tuning, the added weight, plus the forward positioning, could very likely make the car push mid-turn ... )

      What is your tire/wheel setup?

Also, you mention having a rear camber kit. How much negative camber do you have in back? Too much, relative to the front suspension, could make the car feel pushy.

Also what is the rear toe setting. If it's adjustable, make sure you've got an 1/8th inch or thereabouts rear toe-in.

FWIW, even a well setup e30 with a light nose (///M3, 318is) will push if you overcook your corner entries ...

      Cheers,

Yea Corner entry is what I'm referencing. My latest alignment was close to stock so obviously camber could cure a lot of that. Hard to find that balance between street-able and corner quenching. Never got the specs from the line-up shop.

Lol, yea that's definitely part of my problem too.

Not the same car, but did 1/8 inch toe-out (front) on my e24 to help it turn it better. It helped.

Since it's a street car you could go less toe-in or even zero. This is coming from my experience with an e24 though, so your car may not react the same.

              camber
              stiffer springs
              tires/pressure
              alignment

I like the cabrio bar as well, cheap and effective :)

Well , even an M10 engined E30 is nose heavy, let alone one with an M30 and a 26XX Getrag. And front biased weight distribution causes..........
In short, more your engine back. Every centimeter helps. Making engine mounts isn't rocket science is it? If you have access to a MIG welding machine..
