i have a 1987 rx7 base w/ a motor swap 13bt. i was thinkin about doing a 13b supercharged but from the research that ive been doing. the supercheage cost more then to do a 13bt swap. plus they dont get much HP form the superchage plus the port job. ive been talkin to people that have done the superchage on the 13b. they told me it would be best for me to do 13bt then to superchaged it. they said they wish they woudl of went turbo instead but. they also wanted to be diffrent. if i was you i'll go turbo. but if you want to be diffrent then superchage is theway to go. and the thing about TQ... um.. 183Hp and 180TQ is the stock 13bt s4... the s5 13bt is 200HP 190 somethign TQ... um.. the tq is there... but light car don't need alot of TQ. lol but its always fun to have alot of tq in a light car. but anyways good luck w/ your project :D

I completely forgot about this thread. This is back when we thought we had a free donor car but we ended up not getting it.

I still think it would be a fun car to drive... even better would be a 20B tri-rotor TT setup in an E30.

^^ By far one of the best sounds I have ever heard in my life was a 20B at higher RPMs.

            yeach....

I've seen that rotary e30 around...

it's bloody loud and sounds awfull (i.e. like a rotor)...

there's a lot or rotors around here, and yes, they are constant maitenance. brake fluid to start them up, blugs dont live long, and best ones are like hks rotor plugs, heat range in 11-12' that cost a fortune....

seriously, i dont like it.... you buy bmw for it's engine god damn....

Any Bimmer weighing less than 2900 lbs that has an engine revving to 8k is going to be fun, no matter what.

This should be an interesting project. I'm mostly interesting in how you will mount it, and how you are going to adapt the electrical.

Bump for a beer flavored titty-sucking project!
