I will talk to my buddy about getting M30 injectors. He felt that the 540i injectors might help performance, because M30 injectors flows less. However, since it is not turboed, I don't see where the extra flow would help.

My understanding is that NA tuning usually involves running the car on the leaner edge with advanced timing but not to the point of detonation. My other cars are turboed so bigger injectors would help to keep the flow up when boost is up.

One other item I wanted to mention is that the car has Ebay long tube headers made by an unknown maker. The headers are a little skinny looking but are individual tubes that lead all the way down under the car to merge into a collector. My buddy says it must flow better than the stock manifolds but I have my concerns. However, my experience on the dyno has been that choking the exhaust flow actually aids in Torque production not reduce it. But...it could be that at 5000rpm+ the header flow becomes so restricted its simply cutting off the engine's ability to make more power.

Did a little research, the 540i injectors I have on the motor flows the same as the M30 injectors. Both are Bosche 19lb injectors. So I don't know if changing the injectors will make a difference.

The header is made by Stahl so that should not be a problem either.
