MarkD chip + injectors = way too rich HELP!

Just installed the chip + 19 lbers (chip is 4 the 19lbs). Idle is super rough, exhaust smells of fuel. Do I just need to give it some adjustment time? I havnt driven it, and only idled it for less than 45 seconds.

It feels awesome. On an otherwise stock engine, it made a huge difference in midrange power. Its faster, more responsive and has a wider powerband. I bought the injectors from nitro325is (?) for a good price, they seem to function perfectly. My injectors must have been leaking, the orings were all dried up and the tips were very very brittle, as in breaking them between my finger tips. At roughly the same price as the JC chip, this combo gets the

I have no idea about gas mileage yet, the gauge reads significantly higher mileage at lower throttle openings, not at a true coast but at steady speed or slight decel. The econometer may be way off. Ill give you the results from my next full tank.

It always is, useless gauge if you ask me.

The only real way to gauge gas consumption is by taking note at each fill up and averaging it after a number of fill ups.

Yeah, I do that all the time, but I was told that mileage should go up a little, considering that it's better atomization and fuel efficiency. Hmm. We'll see. I'd like to know what happens with that Will.

Which 19 lb'ers are you using, the mustang ones or the e36?

Hey Charles, no E36 (or BMW for that matter) came with 19lb squirters.

                        M50/S50 is 17.5, M52/S52 is 21.5.

Oh well, I'll go order some Fomoco parts and slap a Jegs sticker on the car.

They are 4 pintle injectors, 19lbs (or so im told). Dont know what theyre from, dont really care, the pintles looked fine and the orings looked great.

I always measure my gas mileage. I usually get about 26 mpg in highway only driving, my OBC only says 23. Around town i get about 19-20. Even these number may be off because of odometer error due to to 205/60/14s, but thats only a couple of percent.
