M30B35 Engine with Late Model M20 Harness

Is there anything I need to do to the harness?

Only things I know of are, swap 2 wires(Which ones and where) and running pin 15 to the starter ground(From ECU side or Fuse Box side).

    Thanks.

If you're using the m20 harness you don't have to change anything, just lay it out over the m30 and you'll see that you have to extend a few wires since the m30 has sensors are in different spots and it's longer. The ecu can just be swapped out as well. The m30 wires up just like the m20 since they are both motronic 1.3.

Alright cool, I already cut up my M30 harness for extensions and dropped in the 179 DME.

You can scrap the m30 harness or keep it for some extra wiring since you'll have to lengthen a couple connectors. Its pretty much junk now.

Pretty much what navytapaul said. You can also remove the B35 harness from the injector box and get the B25 one to fit inside like this:

It ends up looking 100% factory. Just need to sit back and think about how to route things.

This is what I'm going to do when I pick up a late model sedan so everything works for sure. My eta/e32 harness just doesn't sit right with me.

Exactly what I did with mine. Already pulled the box and internals. Threw a fresh coat of Fusion on it. Just gotta go to the yard and grab a 325i fuel injector harness to fit inside.

What did you guys do for the TPS?

Use your TPS of your m20.

I got a E34 C101, will that plug and play minus the 2 wire swap and the ground tap? Where do I tap the ground in? Engine Harness or Body harness side?
