I have a 1987 325 that I'm planning to do a M30 swap with. I have a B32 and B34 engine and trans available for use. Both have around 200k on them and will be torn down to assess the condition. I was wondering if anyone had input as to which engine is a better candidate for the swap. Does interchanging parts from the B34 to the B32 have a mechanical advantage? A turbo is a distant goal for the future, but currently, cheap and easy power is my goal.
