    who knows spark plugs?

When warm, had a miss or stumble. Changed plugs, problem nearly stopped for a couple hundred miles. Problem came back. Changed fpr and added electric grease to temp sensors. Got better so wanted to change plugs again to see if that was the issue. So check out the pic, they look pretty good to me, but I'm no expert. Excuse short english, on crappy phone.

I know with the motor I'm putting in, if you're simply cruising on the highway it sounds like there's a small miss, it's goes vvvvvvvdvvvvvvvvvvvvvvdvvvvv yes you have to make the sound.

LMAO... I tried to make the noise, sounded about right.

Actually, dumped 2 things of fuel system cleaner in the tank and greased all the spark plug connections and coil connections. It's running waaaay better now. I'm thinking it may be an ignition problem, gonna check grounds and maybe get a new coil. Thanks guys!

Is this in an M30 and think you are using resistor plugs, this is not recommended depending on your ignition system. Not saying it is the problem

Yes it's an m30 although I still have the coil from the m20 hooked up. I have brand new ngk platinums but didn't put them in since these looked ok. You think that would help? Thanks!

Thanks, I'll give that a try soon as I have some cash handy, does seem very possible that that's the issue.

I may be incorrect, but I think platinum plugs aren't recommended. For why, Idk.

Cheapo NGK's, or Bosch's are the way to go. Dont worry about platitums, or whatever flavour of the months the latest fandangled long lasting plug is. I think there has been multiple discussions on this in the past and people have thought they were improving things by putting the expensive plugs only to find the ignition system didnt like it.

NGK BPR5ES are stock equivalent and I run them in both my M30 and M20 powered cars. I'm also running a M20 coil on my M30 swap. Did you remember to change out your distributor cap and rotor before you dropped in your motor?

Thanks guys, unfortunately I did not change the cap and rotor... I hope that's not the problem. Well, looks like the governor in the trans needs changed so all that can be done at the same time. ..

Cap and rotor would be next step.
