e30.de mounts

Did anyone else using e30.de mounts have to modify the support bracket for the intake manifold in order to make the mounts fit?

I do not have experience with this but I imagine that the plate that mounts against the engine is skinnier on the .de mounts. Nothing a stack of washers couldn't correct. It would go engine block>mount>washers>support bracket>bolt

i couldn't use the support brace with the mounts either, so i just threw that out.

yep - I just slotted the bolt hole on my bracket to allow room for the engine mount.

I doubt the support bracket fits without modification with any e30 swap mounts because you are using holes in the block that were never used on the e32 / e34.
