    feeler: M30 headers(thoughts on producing)

    Link to GB: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...99#post4323299

So, when people see my M30b35 and the SS headers attached to it, they ask for a set of their own etc. I have not really desired to reproduce sets, but I will have some down time to produce a few if anyone is interested.

The sound is amazing, you would only have to fit the down pipes and make the connection to the stock setup. I'm not sure on a price, I know IE makes a set for 425.00.

aside from sound and esthetics are we looking at any true gains?

will you be in the IE pricepoint or significantly cheaper?

They look like shortys? What gains are there to be had with your headers? What material did you use?

They are, no clue on gains as I have never driven it with the stock manifold.

Price point would be around 375-400ish+ shipping/paypal fees

are you putting the pipe diameters and runner lengths in to consideration with the size of the engine? I wouldn't see a point in buying a set of headers if they're not specifically tuned to the engine.. i just started a thread about this the other day:

interested to see what you come up with. Been wanting to build a NA m30 and if someone can make an affordable/tuned header then i would definitely buy a set. sub'd

Having them built with a flange to bolt on a downpipe would be primo. I hated the lack of that when I put the Paul Ladue headers on my B35.

Even if it still required mods to the DP, a flange to bolt, or a V-band....oh yeahhh.....V-banddddd.......
