    my e30 m30 swap video

    Just one so far cause my driveshaft is out of balance and i have to tweak the mounting alignment on the tranny i think. 86 325 (eta) with 1987 325 "i" engine harness, 1991 535i engine and transmission (manual) -a/c. car also has a jbracing lightweight flywheel (11lbs as opposed to 32lb stock) JC chip, design II Bosch 19lb injectors, and other misc goodies...

    Exhaust is a dual 2" pipe from manifolds to dual in dual out high flow magnaflow cat, then dual 2" again back to an e30 m3 stromung rear section from understeer.com

      damn pretty sweet sounding....no motor shots? how long did it take u to complete your swap? you just used the 325i engine harness? did u just change connectors? if so on the end to the motor, ecu, or both? what engine position is the motor in? do u have an electric fan or none at all?

        I used the 325i harness with the e34 ecu because the 3 rows of pins on the e34 ecu wouldn't work with the 86 eta ecu 2 row plug. I looked a lot at strictlyeta and the super eta swap as the wiring is almost identical. still trying to get the temp sensor to work and i obviously need to get a 7k tach.

            Looks good man. I really need to make it out there one weekend and check this out as I would consider doing something similar. Hopefully after the Christmas season I can have a free weekend to weigh our cars and see what the distribution difference is with an M30.
