    Should I??? 88 735i 100k purrs
Found a 88 735i with 100k and it purrs but the trany wont engage and they are asking for 400 for the motor and 700 for the whole car.

What is this car worth and what is the 3.5 worth?

Is there an easy fix that you know of to get the trany to engage?

    Thanks for your comments.

Sorry no pics will take tomorrow.

    Paint it lol.

But honestly, since its a 7 it is probably an automatic, so why would you want to fix it? Would you want the whole car, or do you just want the engine? I would say that $700 for the whole car isn't bad, but $400 for the engine is too much, even with the low mileage.

REALLY?! $400 for an M30 is too much? That's surprising.

I'd say get the whole car, and try to make up the difference by selling stuff you don't need.

$400 for engine with all accessories is amazing!! DO IT.

I'd get just the engine as it's probably an auto anyways.

That was my thought. I thought $400 for a pretty low mileage M30 (100k is low for that tank) was a damn good deal.
