I had a very good experiance with Tino. I emailed him about the mounts I needed and asked what shipping would be to my zip. I got a quick response, said its 247,- shipped and gave me a paypal account. I payed him the following day which was saturday and included a message in paypal asking how long shipping takes. He emailed me back and said they will ship monday and it normally takes 10days..... I got them in 7!! Not bad if you ask me. Im very happy with the mounts and Tino. I did speak about 90% german in my emails... maybe that helped.

P.s think the urethane m10 mounts are strong enough? Thanks.

Joe funk on the other hand, makes really kick ass mounts. You should look him up. Your motor will be an inch or so forward - so really not a big deal (ask him about his weight distribution thread - you'll be amased)
I've bought things from Tino tens of times, never had any problems...

One inch is A LOT when putting M30 in E30.. There isn't an inch space anywhere (not between firewall and engine, or between e28 535 radiator and distributor)..

But no more OT, what paint did you use to paint your gearbox? Looks really nice :)

I, on the other hand, did not. I paid full price for the mounts and was promised international expedited shipping. He mailed it dutch post - his cheapest shipping method possible. Not the shipping I was promised and paid for.

The package was either never shipped or lost in the mail. He left me hanging for 2 months - all the while promising me it would arrive. After two months, I asked for my money back. He flat out refused - and told me I needed to wait. So I did.

Two weeks later - as I tore my m20 out, I asked for him to overnight me a new set of mounts. The cost to him would have been $60 in FedEx air charges. He said no. Leaving me hanging.

That is the kind of business he runs. FYI. And it's not just me - I've heard other horrid stories. Only of people in the US BTW.

Im glad you got that off your cheast in two different posts. Can we please stay on topic... The engine was completely rebuilt as far as gaskets, seals, belts, and new rotor. ($290worth). I used some regular black $2 a can for the tranny... dont think it said flat or gloss it just said black. I used BBQ grill paint for the engine (black and silver).

I was one of the first people on R3V and e30 tech to do an m30 swap. I'm more than glad to be helpful. And that is exactly what I was doing.

You can see the swap done properly here:

Is that on-topic enough for ya?

What's so great about unpainted, surface rusting mounts with shitty welds?

Just use stock e30 325 mounts, they're just fine.

Of course it won't hurt you to use stiffer mounts if you want to.

I used urethane mounts...they worked fine. Looks like you're making some good progress! Keep up the good work and snap tons of pics (because I didn't). :)
