b34 fits just fine, with some fire wall massaging ;)

i have been bouncing around to a few of your different threads and im a little fuzzy as to what motor you have...

i saw m102 turbo in one thread which if you have a turbo motor already i dunno if the b35 head would be an improvment for the boost or not... do you have the turbo set up? or just the motor???

i think you need to post exactly what you have so we can help you a bit more.

and i have 4th just to help out a fellow b34'er

                        That's what she said.

Really though, I could use another set of piano tops to go with the 6 lonely ones I already have... Just in case I ever need to assemble two 10:1 engines.

My favorite method for engine removal and installation in E24s, E28s, and E30s is to remove the engine, transmission, and subframe together by dropping them out the bottom of the car. The chance of smacking the body with something heavy is basically zero and you don't have to maneuver the assembly at all... you either set it on the ground and lift the body off, or use heavy duty floor jacks to lower it down. I have done this at home and at my shop using both methods and they both work. You can even leave the struts attached to the subframe if you want!

yea thats the way we do it at the dealer, but we have a big steel cart we lower the motor, trans onto. i will be doing my swap in a small shop. it would be alot smoother like this just need sumthing rigid to drop it on. i really wanna put motor in and trans on thru the tunnel, im using funks mounts so dunno how hard the top bolts will be to reach....
