Wait, where is the AC fan under the E30 hood (guessing this is in the Bentley, though)?

My dad has been using the AC fan in his E24 for about a year and it works well. If you put it on a relay and switch the relay with an adjustable thermoswitch it works like it was a factory setup!

                      :)

I'd never worked on the AC system before, so just one of them things.

Glad to hear this seems to be a permanent solution.

What would be the CFM rate of the E30 A/C fan ??

Also I guess it is a pusher fan right ??

I believe that if is more than 1600-1700CFM it might be enough to cool the E28 radiator, but in Florida, I dont know...
Also the A/C fan will run any time you switch on the aircond, and via a relay, so the wiring will be quite easy as it is already present. just a few mods.

I sorta didnt like the stock fan since its a bit loud for me and since the A/C condesor is between the fan and the rad. I got a universal 14" fan from the bay, I had one before and its nice and quiet. Using stock wiring is FTW!
