Around here, you can still pick up M30B35’s for fairly cheap from the yards. As said before, it’s the manual transmissions that are getting scarce. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

m5x is only cool if it's turbo.

i wish i still had the m30 but there's no off the shelf clutch that can hold power.

          ^ just thinking about it
the m30 is so fkn king.
stock everything even headbolts it completely maxed a 60mil hx40 and the 66mil borg it totally spun the ceramic clutch at the same boost.
what a shame there isn't a twin disc for it. and it sounded so bad ass too. m50s sounds sweet if you like buzzy raspy shit.
where as the m20 i blew that up like 3 times probably making like maybe 400hp.

If you need a twin disc clutch you could run an S14 one?

            eg. http://ttvracing.com/product/bmw-s14-m3/

            or

            https://rsxracingsolutions.com/en/cl...s14-184mm.html

or RHD make a flywheel to suit a generic 7.25" Tilton twin disc:

Did you get your car up and running? Mine fired first kick after the engine had sat under a tarp for 3 years back in 2012 when I did my swap.
