What steps to do after fuel delivery system refresh?

I replaced the following and want to know if there are any specific steps to take to ready the system. Is there any place to prime? or ?

Car: 1991 318i M42.- Fuel injectors, regulator O-rings, injector clips, soft lines, etc.

Nothing special, just run it. Occasionally, putting in new injectors can be a problem if they sat for a long time since the residual fuel and/or cleaner that was run through them will dry and stick the pintles shut. In that case, you may be able to lightly tap on the injectors with the handle of a screwdriver to free them up, but they can get so stuck closed that you need to exchange them. If you want to test them, you can get some alligator clips on the terminals and touch them to a 9V or 12V battery to listen for a clicking noise. If they make noise, they are likely good to go. Do not burn out the coils in the injectors though...SHORT electrical contacts only!

Exactly - we refreshed out system and then just started it afterwards. It DID take a bit of cranking at first but we also had changed timing chain, gaskets, etc. etc. etc.

Patience and a full battery + all that bmwman91 said.
