    M42 ac line allen stuck

Anyone got a part number for this bolt on the ac compressor? It attaches the high pressure line I believe? Mine is getting stripped. A bolt with similar thread pitch would be great too instead of using a allen bolt. Thanks

they don't list it separate, just with the connector. possibly as there was more than one supplier.

easiest thing to do would be remove it, size it, and buy a generic replacement. i never buy bmw hardware at the price they want for it. there is a bolt supply warehouse nearby, they can provide nearly everything in the correct grades for torque etc.

its an M8 or M6, if the head is a 6mm allen, its most likely an M8.

If its a 5mm allen, its most likely an M6
