I ran a 16.9 but it definitely was not stock. Dyno'd 136 to the rear wheels as well. Almost m20 territory (bone stock).
The m20 you ran was either bone stock, or he didn't know how to drive it. Don't get me wrong... I LOVE the m42 in my 318is and would never ditch it. I drive it much more often than my 325i coupe.
