    cam sensor resistance

I need to test my cam sensor, I have the bentley manual for the pre 91 and the later one too.( E30 and e36)
anyone know the correct values for testing the cam sensor was I looking in the wrong place, the manual only goes into how to replace, not test. it does give values for the crank sensor , which it passed

have a reoccuuring problem, that was "fixed" when I replaced the cam sensor out of my parts car, now weeks later the problem has returned,
the problem is sparatic, engine cuts out when running a constant rpm of about 2500...not above or below...does not miss/cut out, when accelerating past/through

weeks ago it was suggested on the forum to replace the cam sensor, which I did. at that time, it was cutting out at about 3500 rpm

fuel pressure is correct, running premium, chipped, 4 pintle injectors, cop kit, deleted throttle body heater hose mess, no vacum leaks, ngk plugs, good mpg ( 28+ town, near 34 hiway), icv serviced, new fuel filter and air less then 3k ago, removed and flushed fulel tank, cleaned pre-filter, all new fuel hoses, pressure cleaned all metal hoses internally

I forget between the cam and crank. But from factory manual I just looked up:

    speed/position pulse sendor 540 +- 60 ohms
cylinder identifying pulse sendor 1.15 to 1.41 k-ohms.

I think for cam you need the second one.
