Seriously though, E30s have a low pressure zone behind the headlight, right where the airbox goes. If you have the stock airbox with all the plumbing intact you'll pull air from the front of the radiator, yours however, is just getting the hot air from the engine bay, effectively negating any gain you'd get from a cone filter. Install a heat shield and put your headlight back in, it looks retarded without one.

5th would be more usable. there's tons of rolling hills around here. maybe i just need a new motor lolz. :) the m42 is about as gutless as a empty tin can. but its tons of fun past 4500rpms, but you cant drive it balls out ALL the time.. sometimes down shifting to 4th for a long hill is annoying, you dont have to either though, but you gotta stick the gas pedal halfway to the floor and to lug all the way up it if ya wanna do a hill in 5th.

Nobody said you're lieing. You're just misinformed. I hope you're paying closer attention to the road than you are to your speedomer and tach while doing 6900rpm at 55mph. Your own video contradicts your claim. If you didn't care about this point you won't being arguing about it for 2 pages.

thats like 58mph and i shifted at like 6850 so i can hit 60 mph in 2nd. lolz

You're at 55mph at 6900prm as predicted by the gear ratio calculator. You'll need 7500rpm to get to 60 with a 4.10 diff. Good luck with that.
