Did a stomp test and got a code, So I connected my Diagnostic tool and it says oxygen sensor control, code 201. I had the option of checking the Lambda heater from the diagnostic tool and everything checked out ok. I heard something clicking on and off? Erased the code and I'll see if it comes back. I've been having some ugly symptoms lately. When the car is just out of the cold temperature zone, if I give it a bit of gas in neutral and it comes back down to idle, I get a surge for about 10 seconds. Sometimes the car dies, and sometimes it fixes itself. If I try and give it gas in gear it's like it doesn't want to go anywhere, just bogs and bogs until it catches and then starts acting normally. Another thing is in the lower gears, if I'm feathering the throttle the car shuts off for a split second, check engine light flickers on and then the car turns on again. Happens once in a while and it scares the shit out of me in the morning when I'm still half asleep lol. Any ideas?

Remove your engine harness cover in the engine bay. Find the black and white wire that has a small black plug. If its plugged in. unplug it. it will fix the problem.
There is a thread on this topic here somewhere jus cant find it

It's under the cover by the firewall by the 3 main relays? What is this wire for?Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

the wire apparently has something to do with oxygen sensor control, but yes it underneath the cover. If your standing directly in front of your car facing the engine it will be to the left of the three main relays amongst the harness. it is quite easy to spot as it is usually right on top.
I cant remember exactly why the wire is there. gahh i wish i could find that thread. your symptoms sound just like it

If this doesn't work I've had an issue similar to your 2nd one but while I was cuising along in 5th gear. Turned out to be the barn-door in the AFM was sticking. I sprayed the crap out of it with Carburetor Cleaner - problem hasn't returned. I also had another stalling issue (can't remember the circumstances) that I fixed by replacing the O2 sensor.Comment
