Different Exhaust Header

One problem I ran into while fitting the M42 in my MG is the stock header sticks out from the block too far and hits the frame rails. So I either need to make a custom header or find another that works. What are my options for an aftermarket one? M50's use the same bolt pattern on the flange, correct? I was thinking I could maybe just modify one of those similar to how turbo guys modify turbo manifolds.

RHD M42s used a more compact header to make room for the steering gear.

You could try this with a 100 dollar ebay turbo manifold. cut off the two cylinders and use the turbo flange to attach it to the rest of your exhaust. Would be fairly easy. Might not flow the best, but would be easy.

if that ( stock rhd) does not work, its gonna be custom, without a dyno youll loose power
