Please let us know why... i.e. dickweed that wont tell us a 2.73 works great! (if turbo'd)
What diff is in your M42 car?

I put 3.73's in both of mine since I drive 126 miles round trip for work. Driving between 70 and 75 puts the rpms just over 3k. Much nicer then 4k with a 4.10. I definitely wouldn't go any lower since there are a few hills along the way between Sutherlin and Eugene that the m42 would really struggle on.what you did to this car is like getting a supermodel naked and willing to do anything you please. now here you are faced with ths once in a lifetime opportunity and then you squander it by making her fuck you in the butt with a 24" strap on. you are a sad, silly little boy.Comment

80mph w/ 410 = 4k,
80mph w/ 3.73 = 3500
win win

4.10, but I'm in the market for a 3.73 because of the turbo; it runs out of gear reallllyyy fast right now.Comment

You have more torque and horsepower going to the wheels at any given with a shorter diff though (assuming you're in the same gear). I've never been at an auto-x where I needed to shift up to 3rd.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment
