                Actually it is Dupli-Color silver wheel paint. I also used it on my 325ic valve cover about two years ago and it holds up beautifully.

                    It is verrry close, about one washer away. It actually schaffed the first cover before I shimmed it.

                      lol. I recently picked up a sparco bar and intend to 'clearance' it..
                      Seems like washers would really sacrifice available threads from strut mounts.
                      How much clearance/space would you say is needed from bar to intake to compensate for engine movement?

                            It bascially just needed the smallest amount of clearance added. As I say I think I only put one washer under the bar on each strut and it seemed to do the trick. When I first did it I thought for sure the engine movement would schafe the manifold. The available threads on the struts were minimal, hense trying to get away with as little clearance as possible.
