    m44 oil pan in m42

    can it be done im been searching but cant find an answer i know the pick up tubes are different but other than that is it possible

      huh? you can swap pans from one to the other but the m44 pan wont work on the e30

          Note that the M44 only came on the e36, at least in the U.S., and the sump on the e36 is behind the subframe, instead of in front of it. So the pickup tube and the oil pan are different and not usable on the e30.
