M42 headbolts are 22lb/ft then 90deg and another 90deg. Does anybody know what the final torque spec is?

There is no torque spec, you need to be using a torque angle gauge/meter

I guess I probably needed to explain more. I've developed an oil leak right by an oil passage/head bolt. I wanted to check to make sure they're still torqued down to spec. They were torqued properly during install (~10k ago).Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

I dont think you measure it by force (ft lbs per inch etc) once you pass the given spec of 22 ft lbs. Its my linear measurement after that I thought, hence the 90*, 90*. No?sigpicComment

^ that sounds like the right neighborhood..
I'm noting 90ftlbs final with arp's - but those are for studs (not bolts)Comment
