just the front of the pump, the "impeller" is still in there and some of the casing of the pump. There is alot of corrosion and seems the casing was brittle and just broke in half, leaving half of the pump in there.

I was able to take out the rest of the water pump that was inside the housing, took a little beating but came out. Now just trying to tap out one of the bolts that hold the water pump. I hope everything goes smooth from now on.

Hey guys I just recently had my head resurfaced and opted for getting it rebuilt completely. When I got home I noticeed that the cams are not at TDC, I'm trying to figure out what is the best way to move them to get them at TDC?. Do I have to unbolt and place them correctly?

But the head I still off the car, and i'm trying to figure out how to set it to TDC since the cams aren't facing each other... is there a way to rotate the top end while off the cylinder block to get it in TDC or do I have to remove the cams and set them in TDC? if so how. Thanks guys any info will help trying to get this done.

                    Thanks alot this helped.

The head is back on right now, just trying to figure out how to make that coolant hose work, the one that goes from the plastic peace to the head. Since the size of "nipples" are different. Anyone have any ideas?
maybe putting a smaller DIA hose inside the 5/8 to compensate for the gap?
