just because the pump is vibrating and makes noise doesnt mean its working. mine died and on me on the freeway..it would crank and but no start, swapped in a spare i had in the trunk and viola! it worked....and i was getting fuel and allbefore i swapped the pump, make sure its working properly, also check the connections to the pump...also check your cps and main relay

check polarity on the pump. When I was changing my fuel pump I made this mistake.
I heard the pump "working" but the spark plugs were totally dry. It made it to believe the fuel is not getting to the engine....sure enough the wires were reversed and the pump was sucking gasoline out of the engine and back into the fuel tank.

SOOO, glad you got your shit figured out. Anyone take a look at that video and have any idea at what I may be facing? Tore the intake and above parts today and found a minor fuel leak on the incoming line from the fuel pump (know this would not be my issue).
What I mainly need to know is what sensors would cause the car not to star, considering I do have spark and gas. The inside of my MAF looks semi-coroded and I cleaned as much as possible, but I do not believe that a malfunctioning mass air flow sensor would cause the car to not start at all... Is there a way to test if the fuel pump is just on it's way out? I am positive that it is pumping, but not sure if it is efficient for all four injectors...
