Make sure your motor mounts aren't all worn out and use the Race Skids one. There are only a handful of guys that have cracked pans through it out of the hundreds sold. Likely due to sagging hydraulic motor mounts. If you hit something hard enough to break your pan through the Race Skids plate, you'll be shopping for more than a new lower pan.

I was dropped on FK 60/40's with Bilstein Sports which brought my skid plate 2 inches off the ground. I broke an oil pan through the skid plate (unknown concrete object obliterated my plate and pan), and have since raised my car back up to stock. Personally, it's not very fun to daily drive a car that is 2 inches off the ground. If it were my weekend car, it would be an inch off the ground. ;)
