code 1271 assistance

So today I put on a new non airbag wheel, and in the process took out all the old wiring for an alarm that was once on the car. I tried to remove it all without cutting wires but had to cut a couple.
Here is the issue, the cel light will come on only at idle and as soon as i push the gas or just tap the pedal the cel goes away. There is no rough idle or lack of power from what I can tell. I didn't have a code before I had disconnected the battery to do the wheel install. Any suggestions?

1271 is ignition coil 1.

I know that it is ignition coil 1, I guess I didn't quite ask a question. I was wondering why it would come on after sitting at idle for about a min and then go away after i tap the gas or start driving. While sitting at idle I don't have a misfire what so ever, purrs like a kitten actually. I'm just trying to figure out what the deal is. I have already tested the coil and wire as well as the plug and nothing is wrong with them.
Wondering if it might have to deal with having the battery unplugged to remove the airbag and all that left over wiring from the non existent alarm. Maybe it will go away once it sees there is nothing actually wrong with the coil?
