4.10 LSD medium case v.s. small, driveshaft??

I've got a 4.10 LSD medium case that I want to shoot into my 318, I have a driveshaft that I got off a parts car rebuilt, comes from a 325, doesn't seem to fit because of the center support not matching, any recommendations?

run the stock driveshaft. the driveshaft you got may be from an auto car...

Even it the driveshaft was from a 5spd, the G240 and G260 aren't the same length. The 240 is shorter, thus the driveshaft is longer (i think). I know for sure that the shift selector rod is a lot longer in the G240 cars ;)

Like buttchug said, use your original driveshaft.

Thanks for your help everyone, I've seen on other threads people say the ds is adjustable at the center, I'll take a better look to see that's the case

The dirveshaft will not adjust enough to make up differences between different models.
Also the Center Support Bearing differs in diameter from early and late model bodies.
