the real questions is...why not put these in m50? The head's are more or less the same, right?

the VW lifters are almost identical to M52 lifters... suck on that

well just finished(thank you so much stan) but the bastards still ticking not quite sure what is going on, a few ideas are that the lifters arent spinning oil pressure etc..huge letdown but not going to give up ill have a quite engine this weekend one way or another

did you drive it yet? How long did you give it to build pressure in the lifters?

After install, they also need to sit for 30-60min. But I'm sure final assembly was longer than that.

It was about 45 mins ken I ran it after it warmed up and the tick is god awfull it won't quite down ideas strongly welcomed

Did you guys soak the new lifters in oil? It also helps to manually pump them while they're submerged.

Maybe the 'tick' wasn't coming from your lifters..
