    M42 Overheating After Timing Chain

I finished rebuilding the timing case on my m42 & the engine is running better than ever. Unfortunately, the car is giving me overheating problems now. I tested both the old & new thermostats in a pot of hot water & they both opened up at the specified temperature, so I ruled that out as the issue. I also tried bleeding the system, to no avail. I'm thinking it could be the water pump (which I did not replace), but I am not certain. It's strange because I was not having any overheating issues prior to the timing chain. I just want to drive the damn thing again! Anyway, if any of you guys could help me with my cooling system woes, it'd be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Look in this forum for Ryann's thread on bleeding. I followed that and it removed a similar issue.
